Pavillion at the Geffen MOCA
This is one of the early projects done at Jumpstart 2010 at UCLA. The design is based on a module, rotated 60 degrees to get a basic flower shape with 3 petals. This module is best understood in photo 6 where a larger version of this module is used to make a large fan. In the final product, the module was repeated at a smaller scale, and the fanning mechanism is used to provide shade when it is brightest outside, and provide natural light when it is dimmest.
